Global Monitoring Solutions is a U.L. Listed Wholesale Alarm Monitoring Company based in Louisiana that is specifically built and designed with the alarm dealer in mind. With 22 years experience, owners, Rusty and Jan Howard successfully operate one of the largest security system integration companies in the Southeastern United States. It is this firsthand experience of what security dealer’s need that led them to open Global Monitoring Solutions. Here at GMS, we know the role the Central Station plays in the health, efficiency and success of your business. Where It All Began

CERTIFIED ALARMS, a 22-year-old security integration company based in Louisiana, has stepped into the wholesale monitoring market by launching a new company with a new central station, GLOBAL MONITORING SOLUTIONS GMS handles Certified’s accounts, which previously were monitored by another third-party central and offers additional customers and alarm dealers the same service.  While the same people own GMS, Certified Alarms is our first customer.  GMS will tap the industry background of its owners, Jan and Rusty Howard, to provide dealers with a partnership that goes beyond the monitoring of accounts. We want to use the experience that [our owners] have from running an installing company for the last 22 years and building one from the ground up, on giving advice on what has worked and what has helped us market ourselves better.  We also have staff at our monitoring facility who are trained on search engine optimization and marketing techniques. We want to give advice. We want our dealers to come visit when they want and learn from us on how they can better grow their company.
